Mountain View Fruit Garden proudly organizes plant-growing projects in different schools to inspire students towards nature and sustainable living. Through activities such as fruit tree planting, vegetable gardening, herbal plant cultivation, and eco-awareness programs, students gain practical knowledge about agriculture and environmental care. These projects encourage responsibility, teamwork, and a deeper connection with nature while creating greener and healthier school campuses.
As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, Kannur Mountain, in association with Mountain View Fruit Garden, has been distributing fruit tree saplings to students at Kizhuthalli East UP School in Kannur district for the past five years. This year, on June 5, 2026, in connection with World Environment Day, fruit tree saplings were planted on the school campus. Following the planting ceremony, an environmental awareness class was conducted for the students by Sudheesh Maniyath. The saplings planted on the school premises included a sapling provided by Eliyavoor Panchayat and a wax apple (Chambakka) sapling provided by Mountain View Fruit Garden. After the planting program, Sudheesh Maniyath conducted an awareness session for the students, explaining the importance of caring for and nurturing plants properly. The initiative aims to encourage environmental conservation, promote greenery, and instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among young students. 🌱🌍🍃
